The data controller for personal data collected via courjardin.com is Courjardin. Contact: bonjour@courjardin.com.
Data we collect
When you submit a booking request or contact us we collect: first and last name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), travel dates and number of guests, free-text message. Once a booking is confirmed we also keep the payment information needed to process it (handled by our payment processor).
During your visit we collect technical information (hashed IP address, browser type) for security purposes (abuse prevention) and traffic measurement.
Purposes
- Reply to your booking requests and contact messages.
- Manage your stay (arrival instructions, invoicing, local tourist tax declaration).
- Prevent fraud and limit abuse (IP-hashed rate limiting).
- Send you messages related to your stay.
Legal basis
Performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b) for bookings, legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) for fraud prevention, and legal obligation for tourist-tax filings.
Retention
Booking-related data is kept for 5 years after the end of the stay (legal accounting retention). Non-converted requests are kept for 12 months. Technical logs are kept for 12 months.
Recipients
Your data is accessible only to the Courjardin team and to our technical sub-processors (hosting, e-mail, payment) acting on our instructions and under GDPR-compliant agreements.
Your rights
You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data. To exercise these rights write to bonjour@courjardin.com or use the "Delete my data" link in the footer.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Cookies
The site uses only strictly necessary cookies (session, language preference). No third-party advertising or profiling cookies are set.
